GD-OTS is seeking a passionate person for an exciting position within our dynamic engineering team! If you like solving problems and working with complex systems, bring your skills and expertise to design, analyze, build and test our cutting-edge products. Participate in the design process from cradle to grave build hardware from the designs you conceptualize, verify and validate that design through test, and finalize your design into actual flight hardware. In addition to defining the requirements necessary for mechanical hardware and system architecture, you will evaluate system performance, implement test plans and handle design documentation. This includes initial concept, design, analysis, prototype testing, and supporting component development through product qualification and final production. Works under minimal supervision to develop and analyze the design of electro-mechanical control actuator components and systems. This position supports the Mechanical Engineering organization and will be focused on structural analysis with potential to have customer interaction.
